The Original Alto is where it all started, and it has remained the central piece of our Originals collection for more than half a century. Claude handcrafted the Original Alto design himself when he was unsatisfied with any molds available to him. His innovations pioneered a better Jazz mouthpiece: the same one we are still making today.
Claude created the Original Alto as a jazz piece, but its bright sound and great projection make it the perfect choice for a variety of genres. We find it’s particularly stunning in rock groups, funk bands, and house music. You’ll find the Original Alto gives you the ability to stand out above the crowd, or blend into an ensemble. You will reach new highs and lows, having freedom in your upper and lower register. SHIPPING POLICY
We ship within the US and internationally and offer free domestic shipping via first class USPS. Domestic orders generally arrive 5-8 days after shipment, but this cannot be guaranteed. Orders placed before 10am PST will ship same-day. Orders after 10am PST ship the following business day. Orders placed on holidays ship the following business day. No shipping to Mexico, Brazil, or Russia.
TRIAL PERIOD
We allow a 15-day trial for our products. Should you decide you don't want to keep your item, please visit claudelakey.com/returns and enter your email address and order number. We will email you a pre-paid return shipping label to print, usually within 24-48 hours.
International orders pay all shipping costs.
