Justin Klunk is a saxophone recording artist based out of Los Angeles, CA. After graduating with his BM in Popular Music Performance from the University of Southern California (USC) in May 2013, Justin went on his first national tour performing for pop artist Ariana Grande.
He has also performed with artists such as David Benoit, Melissa Manchester, David Pack, The Steve Miller Band, Mac Miller, Tommy Page, and Michael Paulo at venues including the Hollywood Bowl, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and The Troubadour.

Justin has also been involved with the GRAMMY Foundation by attending their GRAMMY Camp program from 2007-2009. Through the GRAMMY Foundation, Justin has gotten to play with Earth Wind & Fire, Lamont Dozier, Dave Koz, and Rickey Minor. As part of the GRAMMY Camp Alumni Band, he has opened for Juanes, Anthony Hamilton, and Esperanza Spalding.
Justin’s debut CD “Justin Klunk - EP” has received positive feedback from the community and has earned charting spots on “USA Today’s Airplay Chart” (#23), “Smooth Jazz Top 20 with Allen Kepler” (#17) and “SmoothJazz.com Radar Chart” (#10). Justin and his band have performed at the Troubadour, The Ford Amphitheater, Universal CityWalk, and have headlined the Nisei Week Festival, and Magic City Smooth Jazz’s 4th of July concert in Birmingham, AL.
Additionally, Justin performs/tours regularly with Ariana Grande, Tommy Page, Tony Ferrari, Lara Johnston, Rozzi Crane, Annie Dingwall, Barry Harris and others. With these groups, he’s opened for Earth Wind and Fire, Heart, Buddy Guy, The Turtles, Frankie Valli, The Doobie Brothers, Kenny Loggins and many others.
Justin strives to take the saxophone in new directions by experimenting with pedals and electronics in his compositions.
